Czech Entry Medal with Ribbon
This Czech Entry Medal is about the size of a fifty-cent piece. It has a bronze tone throughout. The medallion obverse depicts two naked men walking on a platform carrying flags. Below is an open-winged eagle with a wreath and swastika. On the reverse is the date the Germans annexed Austria 1 Oktober 1938. Around the circumference is the slogan that was adopted by Hitler on that date, “Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer”. The original ribbon is intact on the loop and it is a ribbed satin with deep red stripe in the center and equal stripes of black on either side.
