SS Dagger [Late Model] with Exclamation Point Motto by RZM M7/29

SS [Schutzstaffel] Dagger in late Version, model M33. The dagger is in EXC++ condition throughout. This SS Dagger is with Exclamation Point Motto and the RZM Makercode RZM M7/29 (Klittermann Haan & Moog GmbH, Solingen).

Grip: The nickel cross guards have taken on a fine dull patina and look great. Their surfaces are smooth and edges remain crisp. The accent grooves are precise. The matching tang nut is with the same patina. The ebony grip is in fine condition. The runes button is positioned straight north to south. It has good enamel with a couple of minor surface usage signs. The nickel grip eagle is the style with beak which points upward slightly. It still has all of its details to the head, breast and wing feathering, talons, wreath and swastika. The grip nicely fits the cross guards.

Blade: The blade of this example is nice. This blade has fine, surfaces throughout the obverse, with needle-like tip. The crossgraining can be seen. This blade appears in exc++ condition. The SS motto etch is deep, and crisp. The reverse blade is in the same condition. The reverse ricasso is matching etched with a shaded RZM circle, which is positioned over the code, RZM M7/29 (Klittermann Haan & Moog GmbH, Solingen).

Scabbard: The scabbard shell is also an nice example; it is straight as an arrow, with original “anodized” finish. The matching nickel mounts are in fine condition. The mounts are retained by four nickel screws.
