SA Dagger [Early Version] by Ed. Wüsthof Solingen

This SA [Sturmabteilung] Dagger in uncleaned EXC++ condition. Model 1933. The total length is 37.3 cm. Early Nickel fittings, lower guard with «He» stamp. The Dagger has the maker mark on the blade: Ed. Wüsthof Solingen.


Grip: The High Ridge construction grip is in fine condition, fitting the guards. The SA runes button is nicely placed and retains perfect enamel. This bird retains full detailing throughout the head, breast and wing feathering, talons and wreathed mobile swastika. The nickel crossguards are in beautiful condition throughout. The lower reverse crossguard is Gruppe marked “He”.

Blade: The blade of this dagger is in Near Mint condition, with all of the original crossgrain and a needle-like tip. The SA motto is crisp, deep, and dark. The reverse ricasso is etched with the "Dreizackwerk" trademark of this manufacturer; “Ed. Wüsthof Solingen”. The blade shoulders perfectly meet the lower crossguard contour.

Scabbard: The scabbard mounts are in fine condition, retained by the four original and nickel screws.
