SA Dagger [Early Version] by Gottfried Müller Herges Vogtei

This SA [Sturmabteilung] Dagger in EXC+ condition. Model 1933. The total length is 37.2 cm. Early Nickel fittings, lower guard with "BO" stamp. The Dagger has the maker mark on the blade: Gottfried Müller Herges Vogtei.

Grip: The all nickel mounts are in good condition throughout. The lower reverse crossguard is Gruppe marked BO - Bayrische Ostmark. The grip still remains in EXC+ condition. The runes button is nicely placed.

Blade: The blade grades at about EXC+. The reverse has the very rarely seen maker mark of “Gottfried Müller, Herges Vogtei”.

Scabbard: The scabbard shell is straight throughout. There are also traces of protective lacquer clinging to the areas that were protected by the mounts. The mounts are also choice through to the lower ball. They exactly match the patination of the crossguards, and are retained by four nickel screws.
