This 1st Model Aluminum Luftwaffe Dagger is in NEAR Mint condition throughout. Model 1935. The total length is 48.7 cm.

Grip: The outstanding pommel has a great satin finish, with perfect rims on both sides. The sunwheels have bright gilding throughout. The sunwheels on the crossguard are in similar condition. The crossguard arms extend downward in three segments, giving the look of a pair of wings in flight. The grip is of carved wood and is covered in Moroccan leather. This leather has good grain and is tightly wrapped with wire.

Blade: The blade of this piece is a 310 mm example. It is a real beauty, being in mint condition, with highest quality nickel-plated surfaces. The blade is protected by leather blade buffer.

Scabbard: The scabbard shell is as straight. The satin nickel scabbard mounts are also perfect. They show no signs of wear and have beautiful finish, being retained by headless side screws which are in-placed. The matching nickel chain is also a real beauty. It is equipped with 9 upper and 13 lower ringlets, the rig being attached to a fine snap clip.
