SA Dagger [Early Version] with Catalogue by Herm. Linder & Söhne Solingen
This SA [Sturmabteilung] Dagger in Near Mint condition. Model 1933. The total length is 37.0 cm. The Dagger has the maker mark on the blade: Herm. Linder & Söhne Solingen. Rare manufacturer in rare design, without handle inlays.
Grip: The mounts on this example are all solid nickel. The grip is a fine furniture-like wood having a pleasing grain running lengthwise. This grip is of medium contour construction and is in fine condition exactly meeting the crossguards.
Blade: The blade is in EXC++ condition. The SA motto Alles für Deutschland «Everything for Germany» is crisp. The ricasso area still has the full trademark: Herm. Linder & Söhne Solingen. The blade shoulders perfectly meet the lower crossguard contour.
Scabbard: The scabbard shell is a near mint example, having just about all of the original anodized surface. The scabbard mounts are of solid matching nickel, in fine condition with just a minor ding to the bottom of the lower ball.
Note: According to the information from the previous owner, this is the last dagger that was manufactured at the factory, this was given to the daughter by the manufacturer together with the manufacturer's catalog.
