NSKK Honor Dagger [Early Version] by J. P. Sauer & Sohn Suhl

This NSKK [National Socialist Motor Corps] Presentation Dagger is a customized Suhl Dagger is in EXC+ condition. Model 1933. The total length is 37.0 cm. Early Nickel fittings, lower guard with "Fr". The Dagger has maker mark on the blade: J. P. Sauer & Sohn Suhl.


Grip: The fittings feature a deeply engraved oak leaf motif while retaining one hundred percent of the dark gray background frosting and reflect the very finest German craftsmanship. The underside of the lower crossguard bears the benchmark Fr - Franken on the obverse crossguard.

Blade: The blade of this example is in EXC condition. The SA motto is deep. The reverse ricasso is etched with the firm's name and location, “J. P. Sauer & Sohn Suhl” contained with ovals.

Scabbard: The black painted body has a gloss finish, magnetic, exhibiting moderate contact marks and surface wear in the paint from active use, the chape held firmly in place via two screws, the ring attached to the locket, the scabbard measuring 248 mm in length.
