Gaue of the NSDAP - Reichsgaue

Reichsgaue were state administrative districts (Gaue) of the German Empire from 1939 to 1945 during the period of National Socialism. The state administrative districts were under the direction of an imperial state holder, who was also Gauleiter for the same Gau of the NSDAP. Until 1945 there was the Reichsgaue Sudetenland, Danzig-West Prussia, Warta Country, Carinthia, Niederdoanu, Upper Danube, Salzburg, Styria, Tyrol, Vorarlberg and Vienna.

 

Gaustempelcodes are on the lower scabbard of the early SA and NSKK daggers.
